A Poem for the Winter
Today, I offer to you one of my poems. I hope you enjoy it.
"To Our Place"
It is a grand thing to walk in the hills on a wintery morn
To trade tall buildings for towering trees
Slushy pavement for frosty paths
Freezing smog for bright blue skies
And honking cars for barking dogs
Oh,take me to the countryside in the winter
For it is there where I come alive.
